Nicholas Lees Pearson

In memory of Nicholas Lees Pearson 7/11/1963 to 12/05/2008

We shared so much
  stress and grief
Each day was a fight
  to keep afloat
We shared our thoughts
  and lead our lives
Separate but close

We fought the world,
  the courts, the system
We despaired of all the
  regulations and rules
We laughed, we cried
  we fought, we won
........ and then you died.
Your mum, Jane Ballantyne May 2008

I will never see you again,
  or hear your voice
  or speak with you

How will it be I wonder?
  to move into the future
Without you being here

How can I survive from day to day
  And know you don't exist?

My memories will hold me tight
  Our love is still alive
Although my life is full of pain - I will survive
Your mum Jane Ballantyne May 2008

I hadn't shared these with anyone before, so I must have felt I was in a safe and understanding environment to be able to do this: a compliment to you and to your staff.

Thank you so much.
Warm regards Jane
