Who are you?
Who are you?
You came through our door
Like unsolicited mail.
But unlike that mail drop, you stayed
and became fixed to my son.
He read you and wanted to know more about you,
He decided to try you at your core
It was now too late to put you in the bin,
Like he would with an unwanted mail drop.
You only let him read the bits you wanted to him to see
So he would want to read more
But more was killing him
From that first day he read you.
Now he has read you from cover to cover
And he thinks to himself
‘ I need to read the next book in the series’
But he can’t put you down.
You walk with him every day
He is addicted to you
So when he finishes you
You won’t let him go.
You will push him further in
Unit that day when
my son’s book is closed for good.
I never asked for unsolicited mail to come
Nor did my son
So why do you come?
You know his post box does not receive any more mail
So like the parasite you are,
You move on to the next page, and the next and the next...

You crept into my son’s life and you took over his mind
He was lost and so was I
You change him into someone else
My son was lost in this evil drug
He came and went in two personalities –
One life I was in and one life I wasn’t
He avoided my face and visits when you had him,
How lucky were you!
He followed you and left me
You destroyed my family
You have no conscience in what you do
But my son is free now – and you are still evil
You cause pain and tragedy in families
But, guess what?
We all still fight on and we stand strong.
