I trained as a chartered accountant and have worked for many years in financial and senior general management roles for BP. When I took early retirement, Ann Canham, chair of trustees at DrugFAM, asked me to help the charity by providing financial systems and know-how. I am very pleased I said yes.

Since starting to get involved in DrugFAM, I have found a group of people very passionate about what they can do to help families impacted by addiction and a charity who seem to be in a good position to realise this mission. And, unfortunately, there are many families, too many families, in this situation. I am very happy and honoured to be a part of the DrugFAM team.
