Annual Bereaved By Addiction Conference Saturday 8th October 2022

We still have places available to attend this year’s Annual National Bereaved by Drugs, Alcohol or Gambling Conference.

We are delighted to announce that this years conference will be talking place both in person and online from 9.45 am to 4.45 pm on Saturday 8 October. You can see the full programme here

This is a unique opportunity for those bereaved by addiction to come together and share their experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

If you are unable to attend for the whole day, we’d encourage you to register and join us when you can.

The conference is a unique event, which brings families bereaved from alcohol and drugs to come together and share their feelings and stories with others who have either gone through, or are going through, the same challenges they are experiencing. It is a very powerful day which may be emotionally demanding but is hugely rewarding.

If you are unable to attend, we’d be grateful if you would consider making a donation to help cover the significant costs of delivering our support, for free. You may not be aware that we are a UK registered charity (without any government funding) that relies on grants from trusts and foundations and donations from individuals. We need funds to enable us to address the huge demand for our services. Any donation, however small, would help us to support the growing number of people bereaved from the death of a loved one’s use of alcohol, drugs and gambling.
Please click here to make a one-off donation or arrange monthly giving. £10 a month would make a big difference. Thank you if you have already done so. We appreciate your support.

“I was blessed being able to attend, thank you! It was a day that I could share my twin brother’s memory without feeling judged and knowing that no one would have the thought or desire to describe him as ‘just a Dirty Junkie’ that deserved to die.”
